Details: With the festive season just around the corner, our full-day courses are a great way for your budding young cricketers to hone their skills during a course which will cover a range of activities. Our coaches will support players to work on specific elements of their batting and bowling techniques as well as providing hints and tips which will help them to improve as fielders. The session is aimed at all abilities and will include some small-sided games alongside the above practice drills thereby ensuring that learning and enjoyment are at the heart of this course! For the hard ball elements of this course, protective equipment will be needed and this is not provided. If your child has their own protective equipment please could this be brought along. The full list of protective equipment is a batting helmet, pads, gloves and an abdominal protector. A thigh pad is also recommended but this is not essential. If your child has their own cricket bat, they are welcome to bring this to the course. If your child does not have their own protective equipment, they will still be able to take part in the programme in full. Please note: the use of hard balls will be dependent on the abilities of the participants on the day. The decision will be at the discretion of the lead coach.
