Details: Year Groups 7, 8 & 9 - These courses will help the players progress personal and team skills. These sessions will provide the players with physical development, the improvement of cricket specific skills, exposure to a wide range of experiences and competitive opportunities. These include some net coaching, fielding sessions and conditioned games to develop both technique and tactical awareness. As this course will be delivered using hard balls, protective equipment is required and this is not provided. The full list of protective equipment is a batting helmet, pads, gloves and an abdominal protector. A thigh pad is also recommended but this is not essential. If your child has their own cricket bat, please could this be brought along. Note: This course is scheduled to to take place over twelve weeks with an end date of 16th December. This said, there will only be ten weeks of coaching. PLEASE NOTE Due to an event taking place in the hall, the times on the 30th Sept are + 30 minutes ie Start 3.30pm end 5pm. This is for the first Saturday only, all other Saturday sessions will be at the advertised times. There is a break on the 28th October and 4th November.
