A fun 8-a-side pairs softball festival. Aimed at new women's teams and less experienced players, as the day is focused on gaining experience of playing in a friendly and supportive environment.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games during the day. Timings 1pm-5pm (TBC nearer the time based on entries).

The ground will be hosting games for the Surrey men’s and women's team this season as well as international cricket and we are welcoming your child to have their chance to play on the same field. On Saturday, 19th July, we’re inviting your team to take part in one of five engaging morning workshops, designed to develop skills in Coaching, Officiating, Groundskeeping, or Club Development.
Then, in the afternoon, enjoy the unforgettable experience of playing in a fun and inclusive softball festival, on the outfield of The Kia Oval!
This unique, all-day celebration of Women’s Cricket is open to all clubs with a women’s section, whether you’re just getting started or already well-established. We warmly encourage entries from a diverse range of clubs across the Surrey network.
Clubs are welcome to bring a team of 10 players to take part in the day. Entries are limited to one team per club, and we will run a waiting list.

This summer, give your child the opportunity to learn, play, and grow with our exciting holiday camps, delivered by experienced coaches from the Surrey Cricket Foundation.
With a strong focus on cricket, our camps also include a diverse multi-sport programme designed to keep children active, engaged, and having fun. Alongside cricket, participants will enjoy a variety of sports such as football, tennis, and athletics, helping to foster a positive relationship with physical activity.
Whether your child is just starting out or already has some experience, our sessions are suitable for all skill levels. Through exciting games, skill-building drills, and friendly matches, players will be supported in developing their techniques while having fun in a safe and inclusive environment.
No personal equipment? No problem. All children will be fully included in activities, with any necessary protective gear provided.
Join us for a summer of sport, skill development, and lasting memories.
Please note: The use of hard balls will be determined by the abilities of the participants on the day, with the final decision made by the lead coach (Players will need to bring their own protective equipment as it is not provided, it includes a protective box, batting helmet, pads, gloves, and an abdominal protector. A thigh pad is recommended but not essential.
