Year Groups 2 & 3 - This course will give the children a fun experience of cricket. The one hour sessions involve basic skills and techniques for cricket and lots of fun games using a soft ball throughout. The aim of these courses is to attract children to playing regular cricket and to develop fundamental movement skills (agility, balance, coordination and speed).
Our courses form part of the Surrey County Cricket Club performance pathway in which talented players will be identified and fed into the various performance programmes.
There is a one week break during the course and there will be no coaching on Saturday 11th February.

This is very much the ignition stage for young cricketers - giving them the spark for a lifelong love of the game.
Our courses form part of the Surrey County Cricket Club performance pathway in which talented players will be identified and fed into the various performance programmes.
This course may use hard balls for some of the activities and so if your child has their own protective equipment this should be brought along because it is not provided.
The full list of protective equipment is a batting helmet, pads, gloves and an abdominal protector. A thigh pad is also recommended but this is not essential. If your child has their own cricket bat, they are welcome to bring this to the course.
If your child does not have their own protective equipment, they will still be able to take part in the programme in full.
There is a one week break during the course and there will be no coaching on Saturday 11th February.

The sessions will provide the players with physical development, the improvement of cricket specific skills, exposure to a wide range of experiences and competitive opportunities. These include some net coaching, fielding sessions and conditioned games to develop both technique and tactical awareness.
Our courses form part of the Surrey County Cricket Club performance pathway in which talented players will be identified and fed into the various performance programmes.
As this course will be delivered using hard balls, protective equipment is required and this is not provided.

The next instalment of the Women In Cricket Networking event at Reigate Priory Cricket Club will be the host of the Surrey Womens Cricket Association AGM & EGM for 2023.
The Women In Cricket Networking Event will be providing refreshments and nibbles from 6pm prior to the AGM for general networking purposes. For those just attending the SWCA part of the evening, the bar will be open to purchase refreshments. Upon Completion of the AGM, Surrey Cricket Foundation will be hosting a questions & answers session to those in attendance. Should you wish to ask any questions regarding anything related to Women & Girls, please do not hesitate to ask at this time.
With regards to the AGM, taking place within a Women In Cricket Networking Event, we will be making exemptions for attendance and therefore we will be permitting male representatives to attend on behalf of a club, should you not be able to find an appropriate female. Any males attending the AGM will be able to arrive at the venue for 7pm for a 7:30pm start and we will welcome those to stay 30 minutes after the end of the meeting.

This course may use hard balls for some of the activities and so if your child has their own protective equipment this should be brought along because it is not provided.
The full list of protective equipment is a batting helmet, pads, gloves and a box. A thigh pad is also recommended but this is not essential. If your child has their own cricket bat, they are welcome to bring this to the course.
If your child does not have their own protective equipment, they will still be able to take part in the session in full.
This course will cover different activities to the 11.30am course. If your child would like to attend both sessions, we can confirm that our coaches will make sure to cover different skills during each course to avoid any repetition.

This course is open to all abilities and will be delivered with soft and incredi balls which means it is not necessary to bring along protective equipment such as batting pads to the session. If your child has their own cricket bat, they are welcome to bring this to the course but it is not a requirement.
